Gary Trento received the B.F.A. degree from the University of Virginia and the M.F.A. from Pratt Institute, NY. He has taught in the School of Art, Syracuse University from 1967 to the present, specializing in drawing, anatomy and painting. He wa represented by the Lock Galleries, Toronto and Winnipeg Canada from 1999 to 2006. Gary is currently represented by The Windsors Gallery in Fort Lauderdale, Fl. Gary has had many one –person shows and has been included in many group and juried group shows including: Toronto International Art Fair; Arnot Museum, Elmira, NY,; Schweinfurth Art Center, Auburn,NY.; Joseph Scala Gallery, New Woodstock,NY,; Rosenfield Gallery, Philadelphia,PA.; Munson-Williams-Proctor Institute, Utica, NY.; Rome Community Art Center, Rome, NY.; Wells College, Auroa,NY.; Cazenovia College, Cazenovia ,NY.; Everson Museum, Syracuse,NY,and the Royalty Studio, London, England.
